BLYSK Self Leveling Seam Sealer Gray SS30 - Two-Part, Semi-Flexible, Seam Sealer

BLYSK Self Leveling Seam Sealer is a semi-flexible, self-leveling seam sealer designed for sealing roof seams and drip rails on Ford Escort, Aerostar, Explorer, and various other horizontal sealing applications. Designed to flow out and self-level. Excellent adhesion to bare metal, primed metal, SMC, FRP, fiberglass, aluminum, and most plastics.

DIRECTIONS 

1. Surface must be clean and free of dirt, grease, oil, rust, old seam sealer, and any other contaminants. 

2. Prime all bare metal with 2K epoxy or 2K urethane primer. Allow the primer to cure according to the manufacturer’s recommendations. Acid-etch primers should never be in direct contact with seam sealers. 

3. Scuff-sand the primer with 400-grit sandpaper or a scuff pad and wipe with a clean cloth. 

4. Follow the BLYSK dual cartridge setup instructions for loading the cartridge into the dispensing gun. 

5. Using BLYSK Non-Sag Seam Sealers, create a short dam 4” to 6” from the windshield back and level with a notched-out spreader. 

6. Dispense BLYSK Self-Leveling Seam Sealer onto the surface. 

7. BLYSK Self-Leveling Seam Sealer will be set up in approximately 30 minutes. 

8. Allow 60 minutes then scuff or sand sealer with 320 grit sandpaper prior to priming or painting. 

9. Prime and paint per manufacturer’s specifications.
