Textured Coating

Textured Coating is a paintable chip guard that is chip resistant, fast drying and an effective corrosion protector. 

DIRECTIONS

1. Clean surface before use to remove contaminants. Best if used on a dry, clean surface free of corrosion or dirt. Protect areas from possible over-spray that are not intended for coating.

2. Sand (400 grit sandpaper) surface and clear off residue. Clean surface again after sanding.

3. Protect and mask areas from possible over-spray that are not intended for use with products.

4. Shake vigorously before use. Apply 1 to 3 light coats with each film built about 3.0 mils per coat. Allow 60 minutes flash time between each application of each coat. Total film build should not exceed 8-10 mils.

5. Allow for 2 to 4 hours flash time of final application at 75 °F before painting. Temperature and thickness may influence dry times.

6. Using grade P500-P600 abrasive, lightly sand surface. Apply primer/sealer prior to top coating. Testing prior to top coating is recommended to ensure compatibility
